Become a Master Naturalist

The Idaho Master Naturalist Program is a corps of well-informed stewards of Idaho’s natural environment. If you enjoy outdoor recreation, bird watching, identifying plants and animals, gardening and supporting conservation through volunteerism, you’ll love the Master Naturalist Program.

There are eight chapters in Idaho, and The WaterShed is a partner in the City of Trees chapter. Applications are accepted year-round and new cohorts typically begin in February of each year.

Join the Youth Climate Action Council

The City of Boise is bringing youth leaders to the table to drive climate solutions. The Youth Climate Action Council is a diverse and dynamic group of student leaders from across the city who inspire action in our community and get a behind-the-scenes look at local climate action planning.
