Join the City of Boise and Rolling Tomato to take climate action! We will meet at Charlie's Produce 1262 Exchange St, Boise at 10am and it will take about 1 hour depending on the amount of items to sort.

Rolling Tomato is a local organization that recovers excess fresh produce and freshly-prepared foods destined for the landfill and distribute them to their partner recipient organizations, which in turn distribute the perfectly good food to their communities.

Help their volunteers sort and load the donations to be sent out to community partners. This will occur outdoors, so dress warm and wear closed toed shoes! There will also be some lifting necessary.
Space is limited so please make sure if you sign up that you attend to support the important work of Rolling Tomato. Registration is required at the link above.

This event is part of the Keep Boise Cool Food Systems Challenge. Attend any three of the events in the Food Systems Challenge to be eligible to win an 18-week subscription of fresh, local produce through Global Gardens. Learn more, see the other event options and enter to win at CityofBoise.org/KBC
