Join the City of Boise and Keep Boise Cool for a two-part Bike Safety Workshop series designed to help you ride with confidence— and understand how biking supports a more sustainable, climate-friendly city.
Whether you're new to biking, upgrading to an e-bike, or getting back in the saddle, this class is designed for real-life riding in our city. Workshops will include short presentations, hands-on activities, and plenty of time for questions and discussion.
You'll learn:
- How to ride safely in traffic
- Route planning for commuting and errands
- Basic bike handling and maintenance
- Bike-friendly driving principles to help you safely share the road
Boise residents who are 18+ and attend both classes will be eligible to apply for a $400 rebate toward an e-bike. Those who are income-qualified or require an adaptive e-bike will receive priority and a $700 rebate. The rebate program will be managed and implemented by the Treasure Valley Clean Cities
Event is free, registration required. Sign up here!
