The Interurban – Boise's Street Cars
Activity # 425006-01
In the early 20th century Boise boomed due to a modern transportation system, the electric railway or streetcar, linking Boise to the communities of Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, Caldwell, and Middleton. Join historian Barbara Perry Bauer to learn more about the gone but not forgotten streetcar. You will then work with a local artist to create a unique piece of art inspired by Boise's historic street cars.
