Out-of-School Day Program

“Drawn to Nature: Exploring Climate Through Art”

1:00-3:00 p.m.

Location: The WaterShed, 11818 W. Joplin Road, Boise 83714 Entrance B

Drop in anytime between 1–3 pm for a hands-on, creative adventure! Discover how art can help tell the story of science through playful exploration and creativity. Designed especially for kids ages 5–12 (with younger siblings, teens, and grown-ups all welcome!), this experience invites the whole family to create together.

At 1:00 and 2:00 pm, a local artist will lead a guided nature journaling activity, helping participants observe, draw, and connect with the natural world in a fun, approachable way.

The exhibit hall will have also have several facilitated art projects for people of all ages to enjoy and craft together.

Please reserve a ticket to help us prepare enough art supplies for everyone in your group—adults and kids alike! Free. Pre-registration will open one month prior to the program. Use link HERE. Home school families welcome!
